Built across borders.
Rooted in people.
How a career inside the system became a conviction to work outside it.
Tigara was born from a career spent inside the system, and a growing conviction that more was possible outside it.
Born in Texas to Middle Eastern parents, raised across Côte d'Ivoire and Canada, Diana has lived cross border complexity, not just advised on it.
Diana began in the legal sector, where she quickly realized that what she loved wasn't the law. It was resolution. That instinct shaped everything that followed. For over a decade she worked within the Canadian federal government, deep in the machinery of international trade: opening markets, shaping policy, negotiating agreements, and quietly building a network that spans industries, borders, and cultures.
She then brought that expertise south, advising Florida businesses on how to grow internationally as part of the state's export promotion efforts. In every role, she found herself drawn to the same companies: the founders, the builders, the businesses with real potential and not enough runway. And in every role, she hit the same ceiling: the mandates, the protocols, the limits of what you can really do for someone when you're working within a government framework.
Tigara means trade, and everything that word carries: exchange, connection, trust built over time. It's not just about transactions. It's about opening doors, making introductions, and cultivating the kind of relationships that outlast any single deal.
Trade, at its core, is a human act. The deal matters. But the relationship that makes it possible matters more.

We work with companies entering new markets, navigating complex partnerships, or scaling intelligently with AI. And when business gets complicated, as it always does, we help resolve conflict before it becomes a crisis. Tigara is what happens when those constraints fall away. The network, the expertise, and the relationships are the same. The freedom to use them fully is new.
