The Cross-Border Trust Framework

Tigara Group's methodology for cross-border growth: a Discover, Design, Deliver framework that treats trust and intelligence as the load-bearing layers of market entry.

July 1, 2026

Tigara Group's repeatable methodology for entering new markets. It is built on one thesis: cross-border expansions fail at the trust layer, and market entry is now an intelligence problem. The framework runs in three phases, Discover, Design, Deliver, and applies across all three Tigara practices.

Phase 1, Discover

Objective: understand the market, the stakeholders, and the real goal before committing resources.

  • Market and sector research (priority sectors, ports, incentives, buyers)
  • Stakeholder mapping: government, industry, and community actors who open doors
  • AI-native readiness and operations audit for the client
  • Outcome: a clear-eyed map of where trust and traction already exist

Phase 2, Design

Objective: turn insight into an entry plan the client can act on.

  • Market-entry and export strategy tailored to the client's sector
  • The introduction plan: which relationships to build, and in what order
  • The intelligence layer: embedding AI so the client scales faster without losing the human touch
  • A conflict-and-risk plan so engagements can be recovered, not lost
  • Outcome: a tailored proposal with scope, sequence, and a retainer footing

Phase 3, Deliver

Objective: open doors and make the relationships hold.

  • Active outreach and contact development in-market
  • Meeting facilitation and full visit-program coordination, including logistics
  • Cross-cultural relationship cultivation for long-standing, not transactional, engagements
  • Mediation and deal recovery when disputes threaten value
  • Outcome: signed introductions, live pipeline, and relationships that survive the deal

Where the practices plug in

  • International Business Development drives Discover and Deliver.
  • Growth Intelligence owns the intelligence layer in Design.
  • Business Conflict Management protects value across all three phases.

The through-line

Government needs to be seen on both sides of the table, and relationships need real cycles to mature. Tigara's role is to be the connector that opens doors and keeps trust intact across borders.
